TWT Logistics Expands Operation Document Actions
TWT Logistics has acquired Switch International. The acquisition will extend is geographical coverage from South Wales to Southern England. TWT Logistics is based in South Wales with its headquarters near Caerphilly in Mid-Glamorgan. It is one of the fastest growing members in the Pall-Ex network. TWT Logistics is now operating over 100 vehicles and 200 trailers across the group. The acquisition of Switch has extended the logistics services, freight forwarding and the transportation of hazardous freight. Switch has been delivering innovation, quality and value to its customer for more than 25 years. It has specialization in pallet freight distribution across the UK and Europe. The collaboration of these companies will definitely be helpful for TWT to meet its objectives.
TWT plans to develop the business further with the addition of a purpose-built transport terminal with warehousing facilities in the Andover area. The vehicle fleet has already been expanded to accommodate the extended Pall-Ex territory and the computerization of all aspects of the operation is already at an advanced stage.
