The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport International
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) International, was earlier known as The Chartered Institute of Transport and was created in 1919. Owing to unprecedented growth in its overseas segments, it was restructured in 1994 as a result of which 10 councils were formed globally.
The Institute’s specialist John Williams library, based in Corby, totals over 30,000 references and is one of the largest collections and most comprehensive sources of logistics and transport information in Europe.Members of the Institute have access to this one-stop bank of sector-specific information free of charge and as many times a year as they wish.
