Safety is the Hallmark of The New Metal Detectable Knives That Will be Showcased by Martor Australia
At the ‘Safety in Action’ exhibition in Australia, in May, Martor Australia will be displaying a range of knives made from a new metal-detect responding material. These metal detectable knives have been designed to cater to the food industry and their special feature relates safety with blades of these knives being spring-loaded, so that they instantly retract into the handle when blade edge contact is lost. Ferret.com.au reports:
Along with its huge range of knives and cutters, Martor will be featuring other safety materials, including anti-fatigue and safety matting, oxygen multi-purpose eye mist and safety glasses, safety gloves and supports. There will be regular demonstrations of its ’smart’ retractable knives, and as an added bonus, anyone placing an order at the show will receive a free knife belt.
