Mini Excavator Revolutionizes Waste Handling at New South Wales
At it Bridgend waste transfer station, Alpha Waste Recycling has put to service, a versatile Kubota mini excavator, fitted with a waste handling grab which has transformed waste handling into a one-man job, at South Wales recycling businesses. The Kinghofer waste handling grab unloads incoming skips full of waste material, that are put on the floor inside the transfer station. mhwmagazine.co.uk reports:
The Kubota operator then uses the grab to separate out any wood, plastic, cardboard and metal from stone and soil waste and load them into bins that are sent off for recycling. Separating the waste material was previously carried out by a team of men working by hand and was quite backbreaking.
